Possessing a sustainable economy and developed education, many Vietnamese choose Australian real estate with the purpose of buying a house for their children to stay while studying abroad or creating a highly profitable investment channel.
Australian real estate is attractive to Vietnamese investors
With ideal climate conditions, a stable economy, many job opportunities, and the world’s leading education and social security systems, more and more investors are choosing Australian real estate as a potential “investment” destination.
Not only that, Real Estate investment policies are also applied by the Australian Government equally to foreign citizens coming to work, study and live to encourage investment capital.
According to the 2019 Global Wealth Report of Swiss bank – Credit Suisse, real estate prices in Australia decreased by 13% since mid-2017 despite increasing by 75% over the previous five years. Even though the market is going down, Australian Real Estate still maintains its attraction to foreign investment capital thanks to the steady increase in apartment rental prices and the continuous improvement of project quality.
In March 2018, Vietnam and Australia officially signed an agreement to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), promoting a sharp increase in investment capital flows between Vietnam and Australia, while also opening more opportunities for Vietnamese investors to access the Australian real estate market. With the above factors, Australian Real Estate strongly attracts Vietnamese investors to learn, buy and sell.
